Hello my name is Rey Moreno. I have a Bachelors of Music Education, a Master of Science Degree with an emphasis in Curriculum and Supervision and Mid-Management Administration. Recently retired after serving 31 years in education and having worked at 3 school districts in South Texas. My experience includes, music teacher/choir director, principal, federal programs director and director for afterschool programs. During my tenure I was appointed to the Education Service Center Region 2 on a School Support Team, evaluating Title 1 Programs, in addition I was selected to the Texas School Improvement Initiative team (TSII) for TEA from 1995-2000.I am currently the Founder/Advisor to the Texas Coastal Bend Afterschool Association. I am a member of the Robstown Kiwanis Club.I have since returned to work at the DAEP center at Robstown High School.

I believe that as an educator, I am morally obligated to enter the classroom with only the highest of expectations for each and every one of the students. I bring an open mind, a positive attitude and high expectations to the classroom each day.
