My name is Gilberto Gonzalez. I am a sophomore English 2 teacher at Robstown High School. I was born and raised right here in our community and I feel very strongly about my responsibility as an educator. I am a retired, disabled veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces, having served as both an Airman in the Air Force, and as a Civil Servant for the U.S. Navy. Combined I have twenty six years of total military service, and I pride myself in bringing this expertise and experience into my classroom instruction.
There are only two motto's in my classroom that we live by. One is, "In this classroom we are a family, so we help each other out." The other is, "Be kind to each other, there is to much hate in this world already! It's okay to be nice."
My door is always open to help any student who may need help, even if they are not in my class. They are, after all, our hope for the future, with the potential to become anything they can dream of.
Please feel free to contact me anytime you want to. I will get back to you as soon as possible.
Mr. Gilberto Gonzalez
