Welcome to my webpage, I am Gloria Caram currently teaching Culinary 1 and Advanced Culinary. I returned to teaching at Robstown High School in fall of 2013. I retired from CCISD back in 2012. I have been teaching for 36 years. I decided to return to teaching on a part-time basis; I realized that I missed working with the students and seeing them succeed as they increase their skills in food and restaurant services and food preparation. It's important that all students master skills for the REAL World of Work.
I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Consumer Family Science from Texas Woman's University and later my Master of Science degree in Occupational Training Development from A&M Corpus Christi. I continue to brush up on my teaching skills by attending summer trainings for Culinary. I have been trained by chefs at Cordon Blue and Johnson and Wales. It's always interesting to learn new and creative ways of preparing food.
