Kaitlyn Ruiz is a dedicated educator with a passion for student growth and collaboration. She earned her Associate in Arts in Teaching from Del Mar College, followed by a Bachelor of Arts in English from Texas A&M Corpus Christi. Committed to furthering her expertise, Kaitlyn obtained a Master of Science in Educational Administration from Texas A&M Kingsville. She believes in fostering an environment where students take ownership of their learning journeys through collaboration and personal responsibility.
In addition to her teaching role, Kaitlyn coaches the Volleyball Junior Varsity 2 Team and serves as the Academic UIL coach for Headline Writing and Editorial Writing. Her commitment to student success has earned her the Proud Picker Award, and she holds a certification as a Pear Deck Coach, further enhancing her classroom strategies.
