I would like to extend warm greetings to one and all. For those of you who do not know me, I am
Mrs. Sylvia I. Romero, principal of Robstown Early College High School (RECHS). I am proud to say that I am a true Cotton Picker, Class of 1979. I have dedicated my professional career to serving the children of the Robstown Independent School District (RISD) as a teacher, facilitator, assistant principal, director, and principal of four different campuses.
Academic school year 2018-2019 promises to be a great year for RECHS. We were blessed that RECHS is one of a handful of high schools, statewide, that help students obtain their high school diploma and earn an Associate Degree, as well.
Besides offering unprecedented academic opportunities, this year students will enjoy using newly renovated facilities, including new classrooms, library, court yard and a student friendly cafeteria. Our campus offers all students an ideal place to learn.
Our intention is to make RECHS an accomplished institution of learning and an aesthetically appealing campus. I have no doubt that our district's flagship school, Robstown Early College High School, will bring a renewed spirit of pride to our community.
Finally, our staff promotes the idea that learning is fun and coming to school each day should be something to look forward to every morning. Teachers, staff, and our administrative team are committed to making this year your best year, ever!
Blessings to everyone and GO RED!
Sylvia I. Romero, Principal
Robstown Early College High School
