Principal's Message

Hello everyone,

I would like to extend a warm welcome to all new and returning students.  My name is Mrs. Sylvia I. Romero and I am proud to say that I am a true Cotton Picker, Class of 1979.  It is my honor to be your principal.

Unlike other high schools in our area, Robstown Early College High School (RECHS) provides every student with distinctive and challenging educational opportunities.  Our superintendent, Dr. Jose Moreno and our Board of Trustees, are committed to making RECHS an accomplished institution of learning by giving every student the opportunity to obtain their high school diploma and earn an Associate Degree concurrently.

A unique feature of RECHS is that students and parents are not required to incur financial liability toward your Associate Degree.  Our district leaders are committed to paying all tuition and related expenses toward your Associate Degree--all that is required is your honest commitment and time.

My staff and I firmly believe that through hard work and perseverance you will be successful, bringing a renewed spirit of pride to our school, your family and community.  My staff and I stand ready to fulfill this vision and making this year the best year, ever!

Go RED!

Sylvia I. Romero, Principal
