October 24th from 5L00-8:00 everyone is invited to attend the Lights on Afterschool Rally and Fall Festival at the Boys and Girls Club. Come out and support our community, schools, and students. Their will be games, food, costume and dance contests, music with DJ Ryan, and much more.
Monday, October 8th is a Staff Development day and students will not have school. Classes resume at regular schedule on Tuesday, October 9th.
On Saturday, October 6th the RECHS Marching band will begin its competition season at the Gregory Portland HS Tournament of Bands Festival. We invite everyone out to support our Big Red Band as they march at 5:15 at GPHS.
The first Blood Drive of the school year is quickly approaching on Friday, October 26th. Any student who is 17 and older and can take part. Go by and see Ms. McComb in the library to sign up for your blood giving time.
The following students were nominated and selected by the staff of RECHS as August and September's students of the month. They will be treated to a celebration at central office as well as a sign to proudly display at their homes. These students display excellence in and out of the classroom and we could not be prouder. Go RED!

On Wednesday, September 12th representatives from CVS pharmacy made a school visit to provide flu shots for any staff member who had not gotten their's yet. Many of the RECHS staff including our principal Mrs. Romero and our API, Ms. Garza took part in this event. A huge thank you to CVS for helping us continue to stay healthy for our RECHS students.
