Marietta Saenz is a proud graduate of Texas A&M Kingsville, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Math, followed by a Master of Science in Industrial Management. With a passion for nurturing young minds, Marietta's teaching philosophy is rooted in ensuring the diverse learning needs of her students are met. She believes in tailoring her teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles while fostering an engaging and safe classroom environment. In her classroom, students are encouraged to make mistakes, learn from one another, and grow into capable and confident learners.

As the Robotics Head Coach, Marietta inspires her students to explore the exciting world of engineering and technology, equipping them with the skills to succeed in an ever-evolving world. Her dedication to education has not gone unnoticed—she was honored as the 2023 RECHS Teacher of the Year and was recognized by the Education Service Center in 2024 with the prestigious Women Blazing Trails in Education award.
