Cody Barker is a dedicated educator with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a Social Studies Composite Certification from Angelo State University. Cody’s teaching philosophy centers on the belief that students must become clear and confident communicators of their knowledge. To foster these skills, he designs assessments that encourage students to express themselves through both written and verbal formats, helping them strengthen their communication abilities across all subjects.

In addition to his role in the classroom, Cody sponsors the Class of 2027 and leads Picker Nation News, empowering students to take ownership of their education and extracurricular activities. His commitment to innovation in teaching has been recognized with the Robstown ISD Education Foundation Teacher Grant in both 2022 and 2023.
