Marcus Chalk is a proud graduate of Tarleton State University, where he earned a degree in Kinesiology with a specialization in exercise and sports science, focusing on the study of muscle movement.

 

As an educator, Marcus is deeply committed to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and motivated to reach their full potential. He believes that education has the power to transform lives and designs engaging, student-centered lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles. By integrating real-world applications and encouraging critical thinking, Marcus strives to instill a lifelong love of learning in his students. He places a strong emphasis on building meaningful relationships, understanding each student's unique needs and strengths, and supporting their academic and personal growth. His ultimate goal is to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to thrive in an ever-changing world.

 

Recognized for his dedication, Marcus was honored with the THSCA R.O.C.K Mentors award in 2023 and was named Coach of the Year in 2021 at Ingleside ISD.
