Mark Peppard is a graduate of West Texas A&M University, where he earned both a Bachelor of Music and a Master of Arts degree. Certified to teach K-12 music, Mark also holds a Principal Certificate and a Supplemental Certificate in ESL. With a specialization in vocal music, piano, and guitar, he brings a rich musical expertise to his students.
Mark's teaching philosophy is rooted in meeting students where they are and challenging them to grow academically, intellectually, emotionally, socially, and spiritually. His departmental theme, "Shaping Hearts and Minds Through Music," reflects his commitment to fostering personal and musical development in his classroom. As the choir director and co-sponsor of a Bible Club, Mark creates a nurturing and inspirational environment for his students.
His dedication has not gone unnoticed, having been named Robstown High School and Robstown ISD Secondary Teacher of the Year in 2012. Under his guidance, his students have earned numerous awards at the UIL regional and state levels.
