Mr. Benito Portillo
Mr. Portillo has assumed the role of Assistant Principal for Robstown Early College High School. Mr. Portillo is a native of Rio Grande City. After graduation, he attended Texas A&M at Corpus Christi to earn his Bachelor of Science in Bilingual Interdisciplinary Studies and later received a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of St. Thomas at Houston. Mr. Portillo's teaching career began at West Oso and then continued at Tuloso-Midway for eleven years. Mr. Portillo has a variety of experience including teaching kindergarten to multiple leadership roles at various grade levels. Mr. Portillo's goals for next school year include continuing to meet the individual needs of students while preparing them for life in the college or career setting.
