Ms. Kaitlyn Ruiz

Kaitlyn began her career in education as an English teacher, where she developed a strong commitment to fostering student ownership, collaboration, and personal responsibility. She has served in a variety of leadership roles, including English Department Chair, Instructional Leadership Team member, and Academic UIL coach for Headline Writing and Editorial Writing. She currently holds a Master of Science in Educational Administration from Texas A&M University–Kingsville and has dedicated her career to creating positive, engaging, and supportive learning environments for students. 

Now serving as an Assistant Principal at Robstown Early College High School, Kaitlyn is committed to supporting teachers, students, and families while helping create a positive and academically focused campus culture. She believes effective school leadership begins with strong relationships, collaboration, and a shared commitment to student success. Her experience as a classroom teacher and campus leader allows her to approach educational leadership with both a deep understanding of instruction and a genuine appreciation for the educators and students she serves.
